Brad Guzan: 'Fans entitled to boo'

Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan believes that fans should be able to boo the team if they want.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan has claimed that fans are entitled to boo the team if they want.

Guzan and his teammates were jeered off the pitch at Villa Park on Saturday following their 2-0 defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League.

"Nobody likes to be booed but they have a right to express their displeasure when things are not going our way, just as they express their gratitude when we put in a good performance," the American is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"If there's going to be a bad reaction, we're man enough, big enough to take it. We're in this thing together."

Villa continue their Premier League campaign tonight with a trip to Cardiff City.
