Tim Sherwood: 'Alan Hutton could face Everton'

Tim Sherwood reveals that Alan Hutton could be fit to participate in Aston Villa's upcoming clash with Everton after a four-game absence.

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has revealed that fit-again Alan Hutton is in contention to face Everton on Saturday.

The 30-year-old right-back has missed the Villans' last four games after picking up an ankle injury in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester United earlier this month.

Villa sit two places and two points above the relegation zone, and Sherwood has welcomed the Scotland international's return.

"Alan Hutton is back in training. He has trained during the latter part of the week and will train tomorrow," he told a press conference.

"We need as many bodies between now and the end of the season as possible. We'll assess him tomorrow."

Hutton has made 26 Premier League appearances for the West Midlands side this season.
