Libor Kozak ruled out for a month

Aston Villa forward Libor Kozak will be out of action for a month with an ankle injury.

The club confirmed on Friday that the Czech, who has made just five appearances since December 2013, has been struck by a fresh injury.

Kozak had recently worked his way back into the first team at Villa Park, starting games against Crystal Palace, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion.

Now, though, Kozak's injury has left manager Remi Garde with Gabriel Agbonlahor as the only senior striker available ahead of Saturday's match against Norwich City.

Villa are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, 10 points adrift of safety.
