Robin van Persie wants £10m per year

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is reportedly demanding a £195,000-a-week contract as interest for the Dutch forward heats up.

The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with Manchester United and Juventus this summer, while Manchester City have also been credited with an interest.

According to The Sun, Van Persie's agent, Kees Vos, met with Juventus last week and suggested that the forward would not sign for less than £10m per year.

United are understood to be in the driving seat for his signature.
