Arsenal's Lukas Podolski being targeted by Napoli?

Napoli have joined the race to secure the signature of Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski, reports suggest.

The 29-year-old Germany international has been linked with a move to Juventus over the last few days, and has not been included in Arsenal's squad for their visit to Everton this weekend.

According to Il Mattino, Napoli are prepared to hijack any Juventus move for the forward, though any deal would require the player to take a wage cut.

Podolski has scored 28 goals in his 69 games for the Gunners.
