Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez after tracking his progress at the start of the new Premier League season.
The Algeria international, who has also been linked with moves to Villarreal and Roma, has scored four goals in as many appearances for the Foxes so far this season.
The Daily Star reports that the 24-year-old is on Arsene Wenger's long-term wishlist, but Leicester are not prepared to sell him during the current transfer window.
Wenger has admitted that Arsenal could bring in more players before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
