Report: Arsenal to lodge £4m January bid for West Ham United's Winston Reid

Arsenal will reportedly offer West Ham United £4m for the services of defender Winston Reid in January.

The 26-year-old, who comes to the end of his current contract in the summer, has been heavily linked with the Gunners for some time.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are confident that West Ham will sell next month in order to avoid Reid leaving Upton Park for nothing when the season comes to an end.

It is believed that the Hammers want the defender to stay, but Reid is said to be demanding wages of more than £60,000 per week.
