Report: Arsenal target Sami Khedira swoop

Arsenal are reportedly plotting a move for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

The 27-year-old has been at the Primera Division club for the past four seasons, and is currently with the Germany squad at the World Cup.

According to The Sun, Arsene Wenger is preparing to bid £23m for Khedira as he looks to strengthen his midfield.

It is believed that Wenger thinks Khedira will be a positive influence on his international teammate Mesut Ozil.
