Report: Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur scout Mason Holgate

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both reportedly interested in signing Barnsley defender Mason Holgate.

The 18-year-old signed his first professional deal in September, while he made his first-team bow for Barnsley earlier this month.

According to The People, Arsenal and Spurs have both sent scouts to watch the young centre-back, who has been at Oakwell since the age of nine.

Everton are also said to be interested in the tall defender, who starred in Barnsley's youth setup before stepping into the first-team picture.
