Report: Arsenal offered Diego

Atletico Madrid playmaker Diego has reportedly been offered to Arsenal.

The attacking midfielder is out of contract this summer, and the Brazilian's agent has touted him to the Gunners, according to the Daily Mail.

Arsenal may look to utilise Diego's good relationship with Mesut Ozil to try to engineer a deal, although the 29-year-old is said to be keen to stay with Atleti if they can offer him more regular first-team football next term.

Los Rojiblancos are currently top of La Liga.
