Report: Arsenal interested in Dimitri Payet move

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in signing Lille winger Dimitri Payet.

The Gunners are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and are also eyeing a move for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Wenger has made enquiries about the availability of the France international and hopes that a deal can be struck by the end of the month, reports the Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old scored 12 goals in 44 appearances for Lille last season.
