Report: Arsenal favourites to land Fernando Muslera

Arsenal are ready to end their search for a new goalkeeper by completing the £15m signing of Galatasaray's Fernando Muslera, according to reports.

The 28-year-old Uruguayan has been linked with moves to both Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United in recent weeks as it appears that he will leave Turkey this summer.

However, the Gunners have now moved to the front of the queue for his signature, reports The Metro.

Muslera, who has 66 caps for Uruguay, previously spent four years in Italy with Lazio.
