Real Madrid reportedly rule out the possibility of Dani Ceballos leaving Arsenal to link up with Valencia on a loan deal.

Valencia have reportedly failed with a loan approach for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

While the Spaniard is currently due to spend the campaign at Arsenal, the 23-year-old is keen to leave the Emirates Stadium due to a lack of playing time.

That has seemingly resulted in clubs from his homeland showing interest in his signature, including Valencia who are looking to challenge for a top-four place in La Liga.

However, according to Marca, Real have no intention of strengthening a team who could potentially act as direct rivals during the second half of the campaign.

Despite 12 points separating the two clubs, Valencia have gained some momentum courtesy of defeating Barcelona at the weekend.

As it stands, Ceballos appears likely to remain at Arsenal, unless the Gunners are able to bring in a replacement.
