Lukas Podolski keen on Galatasaray move

Arsenal frontman Lukas Podolski says that he would "love to play" for Galatasaray, following talks with the Turkish side.

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has said that he would "love to play" for Galatasaray.

The 30-year-old has received an offer from the Turkish side after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.

Podolski has revealed that talks have been taking place about a move to the Turk Telekom Arena.

"Yes there have been meetings with Galatasaray," the Germany international told Galatasaray TV.

"I hope the transfer happens, I'd love to play at Galatasaray. The fans are great. They showed a great interest in me on social media."

Podolski left Arsenal to join Inter Milan on a six-month loan deal last season.
