Liverpool sign Arsenal youngster Elijah Dixon-Bonner

Liverpool have snapped up promising young midfield prospect Elijah Dixon-Bonner from Arsenal.

The 16-year-old turned down a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, before being offered scholarship terms with the Reds.

Dixon-Bonner took to Instagram to share the news, which will come as a blow to Arsenal following his impressive exploits at youth team level last season.

Arsenal are likely to receive a compensation fee from Liverpool.
