Lazio prepare bid for Andrey Arshavin

Italian club Lazio have reportedly prepared a £6m bid for Arsenal's forward Andrey Arshavin.

The Russian international has struggled for form this season and The Mirror have suggested that Lazio are willing to sign the 30-year-old.

Arsene Wenger recently backed Arshavin to regain his form but if an acceptable bid is offered, it is believed that he would consider letting the former Zenit St Petersburg player leave.

Arshavin has found himself on the bench regularly this season, following the arrival of Gervinho.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League.
