Olivier Giroud would welcome Luis Suarez at Arsenal

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has insisted that he would welcome Luis Suarez to the club.

The Liverpool forward has recently been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, with reports claiming that the Gunners have been told to bid £40m for the Uruguayan.

"Luis Suarez is someone with whom I could have a good feeling with on the pitch, so I am for his arrival," Giroud told L'Equipe. "I'm not afraid of competition."

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also understood to be keen on signing Suarez.
