Forest set to join Arsenal, Man United in race for Gakpo?

Nottingham Forest are reportedly set to rival Arsenal and Manchester United for PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo.

The 23-year-old caught the attention of a number of clubs after scoring 21 goals and contributing 15 assists in 46 appearances last season.

Arsenal have heavily linked with a move, but a recent report indicated that Manchester United were preparing to rival the Gunners for Gakpo's signature.

According to football.london, Nottingham Forest are also set to enter the race for the Dutchman, while Leeds United are also considering Gakpo as a replacement for Raphinha, who joined Barcelona this summer.

The report suggests that Forest have already submitted a bid for the Netherlands international, which could force Arsenal and Manchester United to step up their interest.

With four years still left to run on Gakpo's contract, PSV are believed to be looking for a fee in the region of £30m.
