Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos could reportedly still have a future at Real Madrid despite being sent on loan to Arsenal this season.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly prepared to hand Dani Ceballos the chance to make an impression during the team's preparations for the 2020-21 campaign.

Ceballos was deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu ahead of the current season and subsequently sent on loan to Arsenal, where he has struggled for regular action.

The Spain international was allegedly keen to leave the Gunners last month but will now be staying with Mikel Arteta's side until the end of the season.

According to reports in Spain, the 23-year-old could still have a future in the Spanish capital, with Zidane preparing to hand him opportunities during the club's next pre-season.

Ceballos made 34 appearances for Los Blancos last term, while he has featured on 56 occasions in total for the Spanish giants since arriving from Real Betis in the summer of 2017.

The midfielder has contributed one goal and two assists in 18 outings for Arsenal.
