On Wednesday night, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed that Coquelin was in talks with the La Liga side, who will pay in the region of £12m for the Frenchman.

In a statement on their official website, Valencia have revealed that the 26-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half-year contract, which also includes a release clause of £71m.

Coquelin has spent almost a decade at Arsenal, with a total of 159 appearances being made in all competitions during his time in North London.
