Javier Clemente: 'Arsenal's Alex Song is unlike any other player'

Former Cameroon coach Javier Clemente has hailed Arsenal midfielder Alex Song and believes that he is "unlike any other player".

Clemente worked with the 24-year-old during his spell as the Cameroon boss between August 2010 and October 2011, and was impressed with his abilities.

"He has a very impressive physique and is a great guy," Clemente told RAC-1. "He is a very good player and is unlike any other player.

"Song is a much better player in attack than he is defensively, though."

Song has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer.
