Nicklas Bendtner admits that he would give swapping Arsenal for Tottenham Hotspur some consideration if the chance ever arose.

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has admitted that he could be tempted by a transfer to rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the future.

The Danish international, who is currently on loan with Italian champions Juventus, has been widely tipped to leave parent club Arsenal during next summer's transfer window.

Discussing a potential switch to Spurs, the 24-year-old has insisted that he would be willing to finalise a deal if his ambitions were matched.

"History is filled with examples of players moving between rival clubs and I can't rule out clubs due to where I might have been in the past," he told Bold.dk. "It might not be the best idea but if the project matches my ambitions I would have to be interested."

"I still have a great relationship with London, which is a city that I adore.

"I have a lot of friends in London and there are a lot of great clubs in London, so I wouldn't rule out a return."

Bendtner joined the Gunners as a trainee in 2004.
