Sevilla plan to hand highly-rated attacker Bryan Gil a new long-term contract with a release clause of at least £85m, according to a report.

Sevilla are reportedly preparing to hand Spanish attacker Bryan Gil a new long-term contract with a release clause of at least €100m (£85m).

The 20-year-old is viewed as one of the most talented youngsters in La Liga and made his senior debut for Spain during the recent international break.

Gil is currently on loan at Eibar, where he has contributed three goals and two assists in 21 La Liga appearances this season, but he is due to return to his parent side this summer.

A number of clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Arsenal, are said to be interested in signing the youngster, who has a release clause of €50m (£42.6m) in his current deal.

However, according to AS, Sevilla want to hand Gil a new contract with a buy-out fee of at least €100m (£85m), while Julen Lopetegui's side could attempt to place it as high as €150m (£127.8m).

The attacker has scored twice and registered two assists in 21 first-team outings for his parent club.
