Fabian Monzon admits interest in Premier League move

Nice left-back Fabian Monzon has admitted that he would be very interested in a potential move to the Premier League.

The Argentine is attracting interest from Arsenal, as well as German club Schalke 04, with a January move a possibility.

Arsenal are currently short on full-backs after suffering an injury crisis in their defensive setup and although the 24-year-old would provide cover, he has stated that he would like to stay at Nice to the end of the season.

"I have always loved English football," Monzon told L'Equipe.

"But I am fine at Nice and I would like to help them avoid relegation."

Arsenal face QPR at the Emirates on New Year's Eve.
