Arsenal sign Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Deportivo Saprissa for Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell.

The deal for the 19-year-old is thought to be worth around £1m.

Campbell impressed at the Copa America and scored in Costa Rica's 2-0 win over Bolivia in the group stages.

It is thought that Campbell may struggle to secure a work permit, having not played 75% of Costa Rica's recent matches. The striker will likely be sent out on loan before heading to the Emirates as a result.
