Arsenal 'show Saul Niguez interest'

Arsenal will consider a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez at the end of the season, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez at the end of the season.

The Spain international, who has previously been linked with Manchester United, has scored six times and registered five assists in 46 appearances for Atletico during the 2017-18 campaign.

The 23-year-old is fast closing on 200 appearances for his Madrid club, while his current deal at the Wanda Metropolitano is believed to include a release clause in the region of £131m.

According to AS, however, Arsenal have expressed an interest in the versatile midfielder, with the Gunners considering testing Atletico's resolve with a big-money offer in this summer's transfer window.

Saul spent time with Real Madrid as a youth before making the move to Atletico.
