Arsenal 'put £50m price tag on Aubameyang'

Arsenal have reportedly placed a £50m valuation on club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international continues to be linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium as his current contract has just over 12 months left to run.

Barcelona have long been credited with an interest in the experienced striker, while Real Madrid are also believed to be considering the possibility of a summer move.

According to Sport, while Arsenal are keen to keep hold of their skipper, the Gunners will consider offers in the region of €55m (£50m) as they could lose him for free in the summer of 2021.

The 30-year-old has scored 20 times in 32 appearances for Mikel Arteta's side during the 2019-20 campaign, including 17 in 26 Premier League outings.

Aubameyang allegedly has his heart set on a move to Camp Nou at the end of the season.
