Arsenal in hunt to sign Peruvian teenager Andy Polo

Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal to sign Peruvian teenager Andy Polo, according to Sky Sports News.

The 16-year-old currently plays for Universitario de Deportes in Peru.

"We are open to negotiate but on concrete conditions," said the South American club.

"Andy is a pearl and we will not miss out."

A number of other European clubs, including Valencia and Udinese, are also said to be interested in the player.
