Arsenal 'handed Mudryk boost as Shakhtar find replacement'

Arsenal have reportedly received a boost in their pursuit of Mykhaylo Mudryk as Shakhtar Donetsk are understood to have found a replacement for the winger.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the winger for some time now and the latest news suggests they could finally be in line to secure their man.

According to The Express, Shakhtar have made a bid for Palmeiras forward Kevin, who could be set to become the latest Brazilian in a long line to join the Ukrainian club.

Such a move could open the door for the Premier League leaders, who have since been able to negotiate a fee around £40m, as they lead the way in the race for his signature.

The 21-year-old has starred this season both in the league and in the Champions League, with 10 goals and eight assists in only 18 appearances so far.

Joining Arsenal would see him link up with his international teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko, as well as a plethora of young attacking talent under Mikel Arteta that includes Gabriel Martinelli, Fabio Vieira and Bukayo Saka.
