Arsenal 'given green light to seal Paulo Dybala switch'

Palermo striker Paulo Dybala has been told that he can leave the Serie A outfit in the summer, with Arsenal said to be among the leading pack to land his signature.

Arsenal will reportedly take another big step towards signing Paulo Dybala in the coming weeks, after Palermo announced that they are willing to sell their star striker.

Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini revealed this week that the club will allow the 21-year-old to leave in the summer in order to fund the purchase of a raft of new players.

The Gunners are said to be among the numerous European teams interested in the Argentine's services, with a report in The Metro claiming that a £30m bid has already been made.

Zamparini has now confirmed that Palermo have opened talks with English clubs, telling Sky Italia: "I'm speaking directly to the presidents of the teams interested in England. There is a lot of interest, the player is very good and we'll try to find an agreement."

Dybala, who has 12 Serie A goals to his name this term, has also been strongly linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United in the past.
