AC Milan 'considering move for Giroud'

Big-spending AC Milan are tempted to turn to Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud to bolster their attacking ranks, according to a report.

The 31-year-old has been advised by France assistant manager Guy Stephan to quit the Emirates Stadium and search for more regular playing time elsewhere.

Giroud, who rejected a £30m switch to Everton during the summer, is understood to be open to a move away from North London to keep his World Cup dream alive.

Italian outlet Newsmondo suggests that Milan - down in eighth place in the Serie A standings despite a huge summer outlay - are prepared to roll the dice again by luring Giroud to San Siro, with a loan move also a possibility.

The former Montpellier ace, a member of the Arsenal squad since 2012, has made all 12 of his Premier League appearances this term from the bench.
