How Arsenal could line up against Leicester

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will hope to have Emile Smith Rowe back at his disposal for Sunday's Premier League clash with Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.

The 21-year-old has been absent from the Gunners' wins over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford due to illness but will reportedly return to the squad for the visit of the Foxes.

Takehiro Tomiyasu remains uncertain due to his calf problem, but Arsenal are otherwise in good shape for the weekend and will once again go out with a familiar-looking side.

Aaron Ramsdale earned high praise from Peter Schmeichel for his heroics in the 2-0 win at the King Power earlier this season, and the England international will be protected by Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes once more.

Kieran Tierney will take his spot on the left as Cedric Soares deputises for Tomiyasu on the right, while Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey form their effective midfield partnership.

Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli contributed three stunning goals in the win over Watford last weekend, and all three should hold their places despite the imminent return of Smith Rowe.

Alexandre Lacazette did not make the net ripple at Vicarage Road, but the Gunners captain set up Saka and Martinelli's efforts and is sure to lead the line ahead of Eddie Nketiah.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette
