Arsenal captain Alexandre Lacazette has aimed a sly dig at Wolverhampton Wanderers' Ruben Neves after the Gunners' dramatic 2-1 win over their Premier League top-four rivals on Thursday night.
Mikel Arteta's men were on the back foot early doors after Hwang Hee-chan capitalised on Gabriel Magalhaes's error, with Wolves defending resiliently throughout the contest.
However, substitute Nicolas Pepe found a way through in the final 10 minutes before Lacazette's effort struck the fingertips of Jose Sa and deflected into the Wolves net deep into added time.
The result marked Arsenal's second win over Wolves in the space of a fortnight, with Neves claiming that the Gunners had celebrated "like they had won the league" after a 1-0 success at Molineux on February 10.
Lacazette responded on Instagram after Thursday's win, posting: "We believed until the last second ! So proud of my team, the atmosphere was unreal tonight !! 🔥🔥 Hows that for a celebration 😉😘"
Arsenal have moved up to fifth in the table after Thursday's win - which Arteta described as "phenomenal" - and are now just one point adrift of Manchester United with two games in hand.
