Arsene Wenger: 'Manchester City have their vulnerabilities'

Arsene Wenger does not expect Manchester City to run away with the Premier League title as "every team has its vulnerabilities".

Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger has insisted that Manchester City still have plenty of work to do before they are crowned champions-in-waiting.

The Citizens have made the best start of any side in Premier League history, dropping just two points from a possible 39 and accumulating a positive goal difference of 34.

City have been tipped to run away with the title in record-breaking fashion, having moved eight points clear of the chasing pack in recent weeks.

Wenger claims that Pep Guardiola's men can still be caught, however, as he hit back at suggestions that second place is now the best Arsenal can hope for.

"It is too early to say that," he told reporters. "I feel that every team has its vulnerabilities, even Man City. They had a good start, but it is too early. We are in November, you win the championship in May.

"At the moment we are far apart. The only way we can keep alive is for us to win the games, and that is why the next game is so important for us."

Arsenal, currently 12 points adrift of the league leaders, return to action on Wednesday evening with a home match against Huddersfield Town.
