Nicolas Pepe starts for Arsenal in their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at the Emirates on Monday night.

Nicolas Pepe has been named in the starting lineup for Arsenal's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at the Emirates on Monday night.

The Ivory Coast international has been seldom used by Mikel Arteta over the past couple of weeks, playing 27 minutes against Brighton & Hove Albion after being an unused substitute in the win over Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Pepe has been trusted to feature from the off against Palace, who are lining up without Wilfried Zaha in North London.

Pepe is joined in the attack by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka as Arteta shifts to a 4-3-3 setup, with Albert Sambi Lokonga dropping out of the side.

Thomas Partey is joined in the engine room by Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe, while an unchanged backline sees Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Gabriel and Kieran Tierney all start.

Pepe starts for Arsenal after his man-of-the-match performance at Selhurst Park back in May, during which he bagged a brace in a 3-1 victory.

Arsenal starting lineup: Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Odegaard, Partey, Smith Rowe; Saka, Aubameyang, Pepe
