Arsenal could only manage a 1-1 draw with New York Red Bulls on Thierry Henry's return to the Emirates Stadium.

The Frenchman was given a rousing reception by the North London crowd and nearly put his side ahead after seven minutes, firing just wide.

It was one of only a few chances for the MLS club and in a game the home side dominated, Robin Van Persie put the Gunners ahead after nodding home a Tomas Rosicky free kick.

However, indecision in front of goal cost Arsene Wenger's side and the visitors levelled with six minutes to go, Kyle Bartley turning a Juan Agudelo cross into his own net.
