Sports Mole previews Wednesday's Premier League clash between Everton and Arsenal at Goodison Park.

Everton welcome Arsenal to Goodison Park on Wednesday with both sides looking to keep pace with the top four in the early stages of the season.

The Toffees currently occupy fifth spot in the table, one spot and one point ahead of Arsenal, but victory for either side would close the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea.

Everton enter the match off the back of a disappointing home draw against Norwich City last time out, while Arsenal received much criticism after being held away to Aston Villa.

The corresponding fixture last season ended in a 1-0 win for Arsenal and the Gunners have not lost in any of their previous five meetings against David Moyes's side.

The Toffees will be without Kevin Mirallas and Phil Neville for the clash, but Marouane Fellaini is expected to return. Meanwhile, Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns and could name Jack Wilshere in their starting side.

Recent form:

Everton: DDWLD
Arsenal: DDWWD

Possible lineups:

Everton: Howard; Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Osman, Fellaini, Pienaar, Gueye; Naismith, Jelavic

Arsenal: Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Vermaelen; Walcott, Cazorla, Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey; Giroud

Sports Mole says: 2-1
