Arsenal's Arsene Wenger praises hard work of Aaron Ramsey

Arsene Wenger says that Aaron Ramsey "is a different player to one year ago" after the midfielder's brace gave Arsenal a 3-1 victory over Sunderland.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hailed Aaron Ramsey after the midfielder scored twice in the second half to give his side a 3-1 victory at Sunderland.

The Welshman has featured in each of Arsenal's four Premier League games so far, and Wenger believes that this is a testament to his hard work.

"He works very hard and has improved dramatically," he told reporters. "It's absolutely fantastic what he is doing. He is a different player to one year ago in September. Many people questioned him, so credit to him."

The result lifts Arsenal to the top of the Premier League.
