Arsene Wenger told Jurgen Klopp to "calm down" during clash at Anfield

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals that he told Jurgen Klopp to "calm down" on the touchline during last night's 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he told his Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp to "calm down" while on the touchline in Wednesday night's clash at Anfield.

In the second half of a dramatic 3-3 draw, the two coaches were seen talking on the touchline.

After the game, Wenger told reporters: "I told him 'calm down because they will send you into the stands here'. At Liverpool, it is very tight - you are very close to each other.

"He had a little problem with the fourth official that he will explain much better than I can because I don't know why. It was alright, there was no bad feelings at all."

Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool the lead for a second time after Aaron Ramsey equalised, but Olivier Giroud put the game all square again in the 25th minute before nudging Arsenal ahead in the second half.

In the 90th minute, Joe Allen struck to rescue a point for the Reds.
