Arsene Wenger escapes FA charge for ref rant

Arsene Wenger will not face action from the FA for branding referee Lee Probert "naive".

Johan Djourou was sent off for two bookable offences at Fulham on Monday, and Wenger said after the game that he thouht the decision was a "joke".

"We have looked at the statements made and I can confirm we won't be taking the matter further," an FA spokesperson confirmed.

Arsenal went on to lose the London derby 2-1.
