Arsene Wenger: 'It's too early to say whether Chelsea will match Arsenal invincibles'

Arsene Wenger believes that it is "too early" to suggest that Chelsea can match Arsenal's 'Invincibles' who finished the 2003-04 season unbeaten.

Arsene Wenger believes that it is "too early" for people to suggest that Chelsea can match the Arsenal 'Invincibles' of 2004.

The Blues are unbeaten after nine games in the Premier League, which has drawn comparisons with the Gunners side who won the title without losing a game in the 2003-04 campaign.

"It is only nine games played," Wenger said in this morning's press conference. "It is too early to say that, there's a long way to go.

"Chelsea are in a strong position at the moment. I'm more focused on getting consistency in our results before we think of coming back to Chelsea."

Arsenal are trailing league leaders Chelsea by nine points.
