Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has claimed that the transfer deadline day is one of the most "stressful times" for footballers.
The England international said that the spectacle is enjoyed by the supporters, but the players are unable to fully focus on their football if they are subject of a deal between two clubs late on in the window.
Walcott is quoted as saying by The Mirror: "I will be watching Sky Sports and seeing all the rumours. But it is probably one of the most stressful times for a footballer.
"I am sure a lot of people enjoy watching that but it is so stressful for players because you could be going somewhere one minute and then somewhere else the next.
"We are talking about some people's careers."
Walcott scored in the Gunners' 5-0 hammering of Aston Villa on Sunday.
