Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny believes that the Gunners may leapfrog stuttering Manchester City this season.

Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is adamant that Arsenal can catch second-placed Manchester City.

A Mikel Arteta goal gave the Gunners the win over title-chasing Manchester City on Sunday, and while Szczesny thinks that Arsenal will finish third, he believes that they could still overtake Roberto Mancini's side.

"I believe we will finish third," said Szczesny.

"Man City have lost their chance of the title - it was a big blow to us last year and they might drop a little bit, so who knows maybe we can catch them as well.

"Our aim is to win every game and if we do that we will be in the Champions League next season."

Arsenal are 10 points behind Manchester City in third with six games left to play.
