Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has claimed that the arrival of Mesut Ozil will give the squad a boost for the rest of the season.
The German agreed a deal to join the Gunners from Real Madrid for a club-record fee on Monday and Sagna believes that Ozil can replicate the form he showed in Spain when he begins his Premier League career.
"Obviously, seeing Ozil signing for Arsenal, as a player it makes you feel great," Sagna told reporters.
"He has a lot of qualities. He showed it with Real and hopefully he will do the same with us."
Germany head coach Joachim Low recently revealed his surprise at Ozil's move to Arsenal.
