Roy Keane slams 'soft, weak' Arsenal

Roy Keane calls on former club Manchester United to exploit the 'soft and weak' Arsenal ahead of their upcoming trip to the Emirates.

Manchester United legend Roy Keane has labelled Arsenal "soft" and "weak" ahead of hosting the Red Devils at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

The Gunners' bid to reach the second round of the Champions League took a knock on Tuesday after Arsene Wenger's men were humbled 3-2 by Olympiacos at home.

The manner of their defending was questioned once again, and Keane, who spent 12 years with United, says that his former club could pile more pressure on 'spineless' Arsenal.

"They're soft. They're weak," the former midfielder is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"The goals they give away — you saw [on Tuesday] night, two set-pieces again. You've got no chance of winning any big game if you defend like that.

"There is a certain weakness to the group. They look like they lack characters, leaders and winners."

Arsenal sit three points behind Louis van Gaal's table-topping United ahead of their Premier League trip to the capital.
