David Ospina: 'We'll just focus on ourselves despite Manchester City slump'

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina urges his side to concentrate on themselves as they look to close the gap on a faltering Manchester City side in the Premier League.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has suggested that the team need to concentrate on themselves despite the recent slip-ups of second-placed Manchester City.

Following a defeat to Liverpool at the weekend, only four points separate Wenger's resurgent Arsenal side and Manuel Pellegrini's charges in the Premier League standings, but Ospina has said that the Gunners just need to focus on themselves.

"For now we are just thinking about ourselves," said Ospina, according to The Standard.

"We'll keep doing our job and picking up points and then we'll see what happens.

"It's game after game and we know we're close to them now. But we need to concentrate on ourselves and not think about them."

Ospina joined Arsenal from Nice last summer after impressing while playing for Colombia in the Brazilian World Cup.
