Samir Nasri denies making comments about Arsenal on Facebook.

Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has taken to Twitter to deny comments posted on a Facebook page that were attributed to the player.

The Facebook comment in question read: “I was very disappointed by the supporters last weekend. I am still an Arsenal player but I will certainly leave very soon. It's nearly done. But I will leave with bitterness and anger in my heart.”

However, speaking on Twitter today (Wednesday), Nasri said: “Just to make things clear I dont have a facebook so I never said I was leaving with bitterness the guy who said that use a fake account (sic).”

Nasri has been the subject of a long summer transfer saga, with Manchester City doing their best to lure the France international away from North London.

The 24-year-old could double his wages at Eastlands, but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to keep the player at the Emirates.
