Mario Balotelli: 'I'd play for Arsenal'

Mario Balotelli says that he could see himself playing for Arsenal one day, but would "never" return to Liverpool.

Mario Balotelli has revealed that he could envisage himself playing for Arsenal one day.

The 26-year-old striker previously had spells with Manchester City and both Milan clubs, as well as an ill-fated couple of years with Liverpool, before switching to Ligue 1 outfit Nice over the summer.

While he would return to England with City or their Premier League rivals Arsenal, Balotelli has admitted that he would "never" consider going back to Liverpool.

"[If go back to England] for sure not Liverpool," he told Chinese publication Xinhua. "Because I find myself very bad in Liverpool. I said the team was good and the fans are amazing, but I would never go back to Liverpool.

"The first one I think in England is Manchester City, and the second team I always like is Arsenal. That doesn't mean I will go to play there - I just like them."

Balotelli has six goals in six games for Nice so far this season.
