Thierry Henry has reportedly been put on an intense fitness drive ahead of his shock loan return to former club Arsenal.
Henry is close to completing a loan deal with the Gunners that would see him play for the North London club until March when the MLS season starts up again.
Though Henry has been training with Arsenal while the New York Red Bulls enjoy their off-season, he is still not match fit after a holiday in Mexico.
The Frenchman is undergoing additional fitness training away from the first team in order to be ready for potential matches in January.
Henry became Arsenal's all-time leading goalscorer during his eight-year stint there.
