Arsenal's Olivier Giroud reflects on "good draw" against Manchester United

Olivier Giroud believes that Arsenal responded well to their defeat to Liverpool by securing a goalless draw against Manchester United.

Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud believes that he and his teammates showed a "good reaction" to their defeat to Liverpool by grabbing just a point from their clash against Manchester United.

The Gunners, who fell to a 5-1 thrashing at Anfield last weekend, dropped points in a goalless draw with United at the Emirates last night.

"I think we had a good reaction after the bad result against Liverpool," Giroud told the club's official website. "I think it's a good draw to be honest even if we could have scored at the end. It was maybe just about our confidence.

"We did well in the first half especially but after we looked a bit tired. It's okay, we had a good reaction on the pitch and I think that's the most important thing even if we wanted to win this game."

Arsenal are one point behind Premier League leaders Chelsea in the table.
